Lukas Foss


American composer, conductor and educator, Lukas Foss, has contributed profoundly towards the circulation and appreciation of music from your 20th century. He started his musical research in Berlin, where he analyzed piano and theory with Julius Goldstein (Herford). Goldstein launched Foss towards the music of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, which demonstrated to truly have a profound influence on Foss’s musical advancement.
