Luís Bittencourt

Having a lot more than 130 documented compositions, Luís Bittencourt published jewels of the time referred to as the Golden Age group of the Brazilian track. His initial documented tune was “Lua Triste,” by Sílvio Caldas, in 1936 (Odeon). “Nova Ilusão” (with José Meneses) have scored popular in 1948 in the Operating-system Cariocas recording. Various other hits had been “Aquelas Palavras” (1945), sung by Benny Woldoff; “Casadinhos” (1945), by Tuiú; and “A Grande Verdade” (1948), by Marlene. From 1952 to 1961 was the creative director for the firms Sinter and Philips, learning to be a manufacturer for Musidisc and Nilser. Since 1961 is certainly a member from the Orquestra Sinfônica Nacional.
