Lucifer was a little-known Canadian rock and roll group that formed in Hamilton close to the start of ’70s. Members from the lineup included lead vocalist and guitarist Eugene “Jay” Smith, bassist Bobby Washington, and guitarist Christiaan Kooij. The group’s associates also passed a nickname, Snap, Crackle, and Pop, most likely taken following the well-known breakfast cereal advertisement. Though obscure, it can seem Lucifer maintained the discharge of at least one record, a self-titled providing that made an appearance in 1971 over the P-Vine label.
