Lu

Mexican pop/rock duo Lu were shaped in 1996 by vocalist Paty Cantu and guitarist/vocalist Mario Sandoval, both of whom hail from Guadalajara. Sandoval was raised within a musical home, his dad a guitarist and vocalist. In his early years he trained himself electric guitar and piano, taking part in different rock groupings and writing tracks. Cantu had used some classes on electric guitar and bass, eventually settling on tone of voice. Cantu and Sandoval had been taking part in a musical group jointly while still at college when they uncovered their musical compatibility and identical tastes. They got the name Lu, the very first two words for the Spanish phrase “moon.” In 1999 Cantu and Sandoval sent a demonstration of 1 of Sandoval’s first compositions to Warner Music Mexico. The label was used with Cantu’s effective tone of voice and Sandoval’s innovative writing design. The duo’s initial record, entitled Lu, premiered in 2003. The strike tune through the record, “Por Besarte,” was utilized because the theme tune for a favorite telenovela, Rebelde. The tune subsequently hit amount ten on Billboard’s Latin pop graph. Their follow-up one, “Una Dilemma,” earned them popularity and recognition not merely in their indigenous Mexico, but all throughout Latin America. They will have since released Record in 2006. Their product sales and recognition continue steadily to climb. Radio strikes like “La Vida Despues de Ti” continue steadily to earn Lu a popularity as a popular among Latin American youngsters.
