Low Sea

Low Ocean take their cue from 1990s desire pop and sound pop acts like Mazzy Celebrity, the Cocteau Twins, as well as the Jesus and Mary String to make their sultry, synthy tunes. The Irish duo, made up of vocalist Billie and multi-instrumentalist Bobby D, started producing recordings as Low Ocean in 2008, if they were surviving in the South of France. Low Sea’s self-released debut recording, Las Olas, premiered to favorable evaluations (notably from famous brands Pitchfork, which do a lot with regards to increasing the band’s profile) this year 2010. California’s Lefse Information brought Low Ocean up to speed for the duo’s sophomore work, The Light, which strike shops that fall. Another EP was rumored to maintain the functions for 2011.
