Low Culture

Members from the Marked Guys, Total Jock, and Shang-A-Lang came together in 2011 to create the garage area punk-pop combo Low Lifestyle in Todas las Cruces, New Mexico. When Shang-A-Lang folded, guitarist/vocalist Chris Mason asked Total Jock’s tempo section (bassist Cade Shoulder blades and drummer Sam George) to start out a music group, and in a couple weeks they were became a member of by guitarist/vocalist Joe Ayoub of Marked Guys. Informed by traditional ’70s punkers just like the Dickies as well as the Ramones, their initial demonstration tape was documented purposely fresh and released on Dirt Cult Information. In 2013, Low Lifestyle agreed upon to Dirtnap because of their official debut, Displays. Before they documented their second record, a lot of the music group (minus Ayoub) taken up stakes and transferred to Portland. Dealing with fresh bassist Jay Castaldi, they rehearsed fresh songs like a three-piece and, after several methods with Ayoub, strike the studio. The effect was 2016’s Locations to Hide.
