Although Heart reconquered the charts through the middle- to past due ’80s, the band forfeited the organic sound of the early recordings and only pop gloss. By the first ’90s, the Wilson sisters (vocalist Ann and guitarist Nancy) had been ready to go back to their origins, which they attemptedto do by means of a part music group, the Lovemongers.
