LOURDS

Though LOURDS founding member, frontwoman, and namesake Lourds Street grew up taking part in classical violin and French horn, she wasn’t especially enamored with the guidelines from the music she was performing. As an adolescent she began a rock-band, playing the electrical violin, mandolin, and tempo guitar, aswell as dealing with lead vocals. Through the entire years the lineup of LOURDS transformed around, but by enough time documenting began on the full-length debut the group contains Lane, Gene Empty on guitar, Sarah Vasil on drums, and Joey Sagarese on bass. Their self-titled recording, made by Ed Stasium, was after that released in 2006.
