Jeanne Louise Farrenc was the only girl who held a complete chair on the Paris Conservatoire through the nineteenth hundred years. Being a composer, pianist instructor and scholar, she was instrumental in the French scholarship or grant that led to the renaissance of French music in the 1870s. Her compositions included various piano functions — fantasies, variants, etudes — orchestral functions — overtures, symphonies, concertos — and chamber parts. Perhaps her most significant created contribution was the “Surroundings russe varie” which included 30 etudes in every the main and minor tips. This was not really their only power as the framework and acumen from the parts were add up to their specialized merits. Farrenc’s series of etudes had been so highly reputed that these were adopted with the Paris Conservatoire as essential research for piano learners.
