Louis-François Dauprat

A horn participant from France who was simply the winner from the 1st “leading prix” for any horn participant. Dauprat journeyed with military rings before completing his research at the Country wide Institute of Music (which experienced by this time around end up being the Conservatoire). As an associate professor in the Conservatoire, Dauprat became a complete teacher in 1816 until 1842. Of these years he also performed in the “courts” of Napoleon, Louis XVIII, Charles X and Louis-Phillipe. After these positions Dauprat proceeded to go into semi-retirement in Egypt until soon before his loss of life. He focused on teaching and published treatises compared to that impact. This corpus of research conveyed detailed strategies and performance guidelines. Dauprat made up five horn concertos and unpublished functions for symphonic demonstration among other functions.
