Lou Rhodes

Trading within the organic consumer electronics of her previous task Lamb for basic folk, vocalist Lou Rhodes continuing on her own personal after the break up of Lamb in 2004. Around once, her romantic relationship with the daddy of her kids deteriorated and Rhodes finished up departing London for Ridge Plantation, a commune in Surrey, Britain, where she turned down a typical rock and roll life style. In early 2006, she self-released her debut single record, Beloved One, that was nominated for the Mercury Award, but dropped out to Sheffield-based indie rockers Arctic Monkeys. Her second record, Bloom, found its way to 2007, to generally reviews that are positive. Released over the A&G imprint, it highlighted the one “The Rainfall,” and coincided using a promotional tour, which started later within the same calendar year. 2009 noticed the reunion of Lamb, who returned on the highway, during which period Rhodes simultaneously started writing and documenting her third single effort, A FORTUNATE NOTE, which arrived in early 2010. The record was co-produced by her Lamb bandmate Andy Barlow, and was the initial recorded collaboration between your set since 2004. Her 4th solo work, entitled Theyesandeye, found its way to 2016. Recorded within a friend’s studio room in rural Wiltshire, the record was co-produced by Simon Byrt, who also performed piano, bass, electric guitar, and synths over the recording.
