Lotta Engberg

Lotta Engberg is a Swedish pop vocalist who rose to country wide stardom being a Melodifestivalen contestant in the 1980s. She fronted a dansband through the entire ’90s, launching an album pretty much each year, and she resumed her single career following the turn from the hundred years, releasing new materials at her amusement. Delivered Anna Charlotte Pedersen on March 5, 1963, in ?-verkalix, Sweden, she started her performance profession in 1980 being a vocalist on the tv screen present Nygammalt. In 1984, when she was still referred to as Lotta Pedersen, she and duet partner Göwent Folkestad received second place at that year’s Melodifestivalen with “Sankta Cecilia.” A couple of years later on, after changing her name to Lotta Engberg, she received the 1987 Melodifestivalen with the very best 20 strike “Fyra Bugg och en Coca-Cola.” Engberg produced her full-length recording debut for this same period with Fyra Bugg och en Coca-Cola (1987), adopted soon thereafter by 100% (1988). She consequently created the dansband Lotta & Anders Engbergs Orkester with her spouse, Anders Engberg, plus they released many albums: Genom Vatten och Eld (1989), En Gång Right up until (1990), Världens Bästa Servitris (1991), Stora Rubriker (1992), and Kärlek Gör Mig Tokig (1993). Engberg remaining her spouse and his music group at this time and created a dansband of her personal, Lotta Engbergs Orkester (later on referred to as Lotta Engbergs), with which she released many even more albums: Våra Nya Vingar (1994), Äntligen På Väg (1996), Åh Vad Jag Älskade Drill down Simply Då (1998), Tjejer & Snubbar (1999), and Vilken Härlig Dag (2000). Following the turn from the hundred years, Engberg resumed her single career, liberating Kvinna & Guy (2005), a duet recording with Jarl Carlsson, and Jul Hos Mig (2009), any occasion recording that reached number 2 around the Swedish charts.
