Lostage were formed in 2001 by brothers Takahisa Gomi (vocals, bass) and Takuto Gomi (acoustic guitar) in Nara, Japan. They recruited Masaya Shimizu (acoustic guitar) and Tomokazu Iwaki (drums) and designed an intense and abrasive audio that was a throwback to ’90s option rock. By enough time Shimizu remaining Lostage in 2007, that they had currently released two albums — Play with Isolation (2006) and Episode (2007). Hiromichi Nakano changed Shimizu in 2008.
