Los Super Elegantes

Los Super Elegantes crashed onto the LA scene making use of their unique mixture of disparate American pop designs and Latino accents in 1995. Made up of Martiniano Lopez-Crozet and Milena Muzquiz, the group provides integrated improvised theatrical vignettes with unique compositions to generate standout live shows. Muzquiz (originally from Tijuana) and Lopez-Crozet (from Bueno Aires) fulfilled in 1992 while learning art in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. Through mutual close friends they fulfilled Michael Clegg and Martin Guttmann, with whom they started exploring anarchic functionality artwork. The four made a loose affiliation known as the Innovative Community Significantly I Swear (CCSIS), which started exploring original functionality art by capturing films at their celebrations, documenting the outrageous and derelict life-style of their artwork student friends. Functioning from this base, Lopez-Crozet and Muzquiz produced Los Super Elegantes in 1995. The duo provides performed internationally at artwork festivals in European countries as well as the Americas. Their debut record, Channelizing Heaven, premiered in 2002 and it has garnered the eye of both edgy artwork and innovative music supporters. Though not really breaking any product sales information, the group’s documenting debut received positive press insurance and great essential acclaim.
