Los Pericos

Los Pericos can be an Argentinean rock-band known because of its experimental music where reggae and ska are predominant. In 1987, with just a little help of two regional DJs inside a Buenos Aires’ radio train station, los Pericos experienced the opportunity to make their music noticed. Their music “Un Ritual de la Banana” became an instantaneous strike which gave the music group the opportunity to obtain a cope with Berlin Information. Los Pericos premiered in Dec 1988, offering 150,000 systems in only a couple of months. After touring Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile, another record, called Ruler Kong, was made by Paralamas’ Herbert Vianna. The worldwide consolidation was included with “Fronteras en America,” los Pericos’ initial video rotated by MTV Latino. Rab A Dab Stail premiered in 1990 and Big Yuyo in 1993. On Sept 17, 1994, los Pericos distributed a concert with UB40 and Paralamas at Estadio Monumental de River Dish before 50,000 people. The same calendar year, Pampas Reggae made an appearance in music shops. In the summertime of 1995, Los Pericos was asked towards the Celebration de Viña del Mar, among the main music occasions in SOUTH USA and afterwards to Spain and France. In 1999, los Pericos released Mystic Like and Vivos.
