Los Pasteles Verdes

Brothers Víctor Hugo Acuña and Cesar Acuña began using popular music within a band referred to as the Jeekstones, later called los Benkers. Both of these bands marked the start of perhaps one of the most well-known Latin pop clothes from the 1970s. Los Pasteles Verdes surfaced in 1973 composed of vocalist German Laos, guitarist Hugo Acuña, keyboardist Cesar Acuña, drummer Jorge Luis Principe, bassist Miguel Moreno, and percussionist Juan Vásquez. Vocalist Aldo Guibovich became a member of in 1974. Their initial hit, known as “Angelitos Negros,” expected their debut record Recuerdos de Una Noche. After touring around Latin America, the Peruvian ensemble resolved in Mexico for greater than a decade.
