San Joaquin, CA-based foursome Los Malandrines (the Malicious) comprises bassist Euler, drummer Héctor, singer/accordionist Esau and “bajo sexto” participant Claudia Veronica. Los Malandrines began playing traditional Mexican rhythms at a age mostly inspired by musician Arturo Montiel. Just before registering with BMG U.S. Latin, the Norteño ensemble debuted with La Suegra Metiche and Un Lengua Suelta independently Olmeca Music. In 2002 their 10-monitor record De Malandrin A Malandrin highlighted the hit one “Desmadrozo con Cabrón,” compiled by Los Razos’ Sacramento Memoryírez.
