Los Galos

In 1963, several Chilean learners formed a band called the Douglas. Four years afterwards, bassist/vocalist Luis Muñoz (aka Lucho Muñoz), guitarist Carlos Baeza, keyboardist Jorge Deij, drummer Roberto Zuñiga, sax participant Nicolas Parra, and trumpeter Mario Darigo made a decision to transformation their name to Los Galos. In 1970, an enchanting song known as “Como Deseo Ser Tu Amor” became their first strike. “Olvidarte Nunca,” “Un Minuto De Tu Amor,” and “Perdona Si Me Ves Llorar” implemented immediately after. Muñoz still left the music group in 1974 along with a calendar year afterwards, Los Galos disbanded. In 1997, Deij and Zuñiga teamed up with trumpet participant Leo Nuñez, vocalist Carlos Peña, bassist Eladio Farias, saxophonist Manuel Antonio Matta, and guitarist Juan Memoryón Suazo to produce a new record, entitled Declaraciones, which was stated in Chile as well as the U.S. and released in-may 1998.
