Los Fronterizos

Argentinean los Fronterizos produced their debut in 1953 while taking part in a contest at Salta’s Alberdi Theater, soon obtaining the essential support of regional artist Eduardo Falú. In 1954, the folk action registered to TK Information, touring the united states a year afterwards. In 1956, Carlos Barbarán made a decision to keep the group, getting changed by César Isella. Pursuing that event, los Fronterizos began touring European countries for the very first time. After shifting to Philips in 1958, the foursome documented in 1962 Coronación del Folklore, alongside Eduardo Falú and Ariel Memoryírez, later producing among their most acclaimed functions, Misa Criolla, that was released in 1964. When César Isella still left in 1969, Yayo Quesada had taken his place. In 1977, los Fronterizos disbanded, even so, during the pursuing years, the group was reunited many times to execute live.
