Los Dareyes de la Sierra

Los Dareyes de la Sierra certainly are a well-known norteño group hailing from Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico, who released some albums in the Disa label and whose strikes include “Hasta un Día de Hoy.” Originally founded in 1997 using a different lineup under a different name, Los Dareyes are led by vocalist/accordionist José Darey Castro, who’s backed by Miguel Enrique Razcón and Juan Vázquez. Not really counting the many greatest-hits compilations within their catalog, Los Dareyes’ albums consist of El Águila True (2005), Cigarro de Hoja (2005), Como Tú los Querías Oír en Vivo (2005), La Creditedña de Mi Vida (2005), Directo (2006), En la Mira (2007), and Con Banda (2008). Their most well-known songs consist of “Quisiera Ser una Lagrima,” “Un Jabalí,” “Un Águila True” (from Un Águila True); “Un Novillo Despuntado,” “Un Fin de Nuestro Amor,” “Un Perdedor” (from Cigarro de Hoja); “Creditedña de Mi Vida,” “La Más Bonita de Todos,” “Arrincónamela” (from La Creditedña de Mi Vida); “Tu Perfume,” “Vida Mafiosa,” “Un Valiente” (from Directo); and “Hasta un Día de Hoy” (from Con Banda).
