Los Angeles de Charly

The 12-member traditional Mexican group LA de Charly surfaced in 1999 after Charly Becies left his previous act, LA Azules, to put together his very own outfit. Memo Palafox and Jonathan Martínez became a member of him to create their debut record, entitled La Magia del Amor. Playing a variety of Colombian Cumbia and Mexican norteño designs based on intimate lyrics, LA de Charly came back in November 2000 using a ten-track record, known as Un Sueño, offering the hit one “Toda.” Billboard’s Best Latin record Te Voy A Enamorar implemented in 2001.
