Los Amos de Nuevo Leon

Focusing on hardcore corridos, Los Amos de Nuevo Leon certainly are a regional Mexican strap from Modesto, California, that released some major-label albums in colaboration with Universal GROUP around the change of the century. Made up of Jose Guajardo (accordion, vocals), Esteban Guajardo (bass, vocals), Francisco Romero (bajosexto), and Jesus Flores (drums), Los Amos started their recording profession in colaboration with the label Mar International, liberating albums including Corridos de Peligro (1996), Los Amos de Nuevo Leon (1996), and Sentencia de por Vida (1996). Los Amos after that released some major-label albums in colaboration with Universal GROUP: Pantano de Cocodrilos (1999), Completamente Tuyos (2001), and Regreso Al Pantano (2002), in addition to the greatest-hits compilation recording Oro Norteño (2002). Many years later on Los Amos resurfaced within the self-employed label Solo Information with Un Hyphy (Jai-Fi) (2008). By 2013, that they had integrated more digital beats to their music and dubbed this fresh audio “hyphy,” a nod towards the party-rap songs that arrived of Bay Region hip-hop. Their recording THE BEST Hyphy Collection made an appearance that same calendar year.
