Lorenza Ponce

Lorenza Ponce is most noted because the active violinist who performed onstage with Japan superstar Kitaro during his 1994-1995 tour. Ponce started her musical trip studying traditional violin. By senior high school, she was a soloist within the Maryland Youngsters Symphony and spent 2 yrs attending prep college at Baltimore’s renowned Peabody Conservatory. She received several scholarships and fellowships and furthered her traditional studies in the Manhattan College of Music and Syracuse College or university. Upon graduation, Ponce bought a power violin and made a decision to pursue a profession like a pop designer rather than classical performer. An opportunity ending up in Yes vocalist Jon Anderson in 1993 resulted in her putting your signature on a connection with Angel Information, with whom she released her first single recording (with vocals), Imago, in 1997. Besides touring with Kitaro, Ponce offers performed and documented with Deborah Harry, Jewel, Jon Anderson, and Silverchair.
