Lordian Guard

Lordian Guard were a Religious heavy metal task founded by onetime Warlord guitarist Bill Tsamis in 1995. Having also adopted keyboards and bass because of this semi-solo quest, Tsamis recruited vocalist Vidonne Sayre-Riemenschneider and drummer Michael Cerularius the next year and documented Lordian Guard’s eponymous debut using many songs originally created as Warlord demos. The debut and its own 1997 successor, Sinners within the Hands of the Angry God, shown not merely Tsamis’ religious sights (though not within an overt, preachy style) but additionally his increasing choice for keyboards over guitars, thus distancing the group from its primary, rock constituents. Even so, Lordian Guard shortly got busy using the sessions because of their planned third record, apparently entitled The Holy Empire, but split up before its discharge, leaving only 1 monitor, “Invaders,” to surface area on Hellion Information’ following Warzone XIV: Epic Steel Storm compilation.
