Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz

The rap duo of Lord Tariq (Sean Hamilton) and Peter Gunz (Peter Pankey) emerged from your Bronx beneath the name the Gunrunners. Additionally, both loved concurrent solo professions. Gunz was authorized to Shaquille O’Neal’s T.W.is.M. label, while Tariq, also an associate of the amount of money Boss Players, made an appearance on tracks from the Notorious B.We.G., Jay-Z, Nas, and Mobb Deep. Authorized to Columbia, where they setup their Codeine subsidiary, Tariq and Gunz produced their appropriate debut in 1997 using the Steely Dan-sampling “Deja Vu (Uptown Baby),” a celebration anthem that crossed in to the pop Ten Ten.
