Roots-rockers Loose Diamond jewelry got their begin in Dayton, Ohio seeing that the Highwaymen, but changed their name after arriving in Austin, Tx, in the late ’80s; the group, which contains “Scrappy” Jud Newcomb (electric guitar and vocals), Troy Campbell (vocals, harmonica and classical guitar), Mike Campbell (bass) and Ian Bailey (drums), combined affects including Neil Little and Bruce Springsteen and a wide variety of blues, R&B and nation music artists. In 1993, Loose Diamond jewelry released their debut LP, Burning up Daylight, followed 2 yrs afterwards by New Area. Fresco Fiasco an all-acoustic, seven-song mini record, made an appearance in 1996.
