San Diego’s Loons shaped in NORTH PARK in 1995, when previous members from the Tell-Tale Hearts as well as the Hoods joined up with forces. With Mike Stax on business lead vocals, Anja Diabolik on bass electric guitar and support vocals, drummer Ian Andrew and guitarists Tag Schroeder and Chris Marsteller, the group embraced ’60s affects just like the Yardbirds and Like. Following a slew of singles released on brands as different as Period Bomb Information, 360 Twist Information, and Thermionic Information from america, and Screaming Apple Information and Potential Picou Information from Germany, Obtain Hip Records wanted to discharge the band’s debut full-length. Love’s Deceased Leaves was released in 2000, and was made by Soundtrack in our Lives member Ebbot Lundberg. The album’s exclusive take on garage area rock blended with power pop, punk, along with a tinge of psychedelia was an ambitious 1st effort. The music group created their sophomore work themselves with help from maker Mike Kamoo.
