Loomer

Shaped in Detroit in 1994, Lynda Mandolyn and Hugh Caley met up to press the boundaries of ambient/ noise pop, hence Loomer was created. After a relocation to SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA in 1995, Mandolyn and Caley focused primarily on the function in the studio room instead of playing gigs –their last formal live show is at 1996. After recruiting guitarist Serge Vladimiroff in 1997, Loomer’s initial full-length Globe Tipped Blue premiered in 1998 on Bad Eye Records. Plenty of comparassions to My Bloody Valentine, Stereolab and Medication followed.
