Looker

Founded in NY City’s Reduce East Part in 2003 by dual vocalist/guitarists Boshra Al Saadi and Nicole Greco, Looker started as an informal little bit of fun between both of these lifelong friends, before obtaining serious by adding bassist/vocalist A.J. Lambert and drummer/vocalist Robbie Overbey. By merging the bittersweet noises of ’60s young lady group pop with arty proto-new influx, plus edgy punk rock and roll grit and attitude, the quartet was shortly producing waves and seducing critics for the wildly competitive regional club scene, resulting in numerous touring possibilities — locally and overseas — even prior to the documenting of its 2007 debut record, Born Too Later. Unfortunately, the lack of record business support (the music group self-released the LP) made certain that Looker would stay a well-kept magic formula known and then indie rock and roll cognoscenti, yet the group provides forged on, unveiling several singles throughout 2008, before the fall discharge of its sophomore full-length, Delivered in the Desert.
