The humble beginnings of Tallahassee indie rock outfit Look Mexico could be traced to some chance meeting between Matt Agrella (vocals/guitar) and Dave Bumsted (guitar) in a Sea and Cake show held at Florida State University. They began writing tracks, and in early 2004 made a decision to really get yourself a band ready to go together. Looking for people to circular them out, they ultimately installed with drummer Josh Mikel; Appear Mexico booked their initial show in Oct 2004 (using Karate, believe it or not), despite the fact that they had however to discover a bassist. A short-term one was discovered just with time for the gig, but Appear Mexico weren’t solidified until following the documenting of their 1st EP, 2005’s So Byzantine, with the help of Tyson Kuhlhoff. The people played various times, mainly around Florida, before getting into the studio room in early 2006 to record their following effort. THE KEY EP premiered later that 12 months to positive response, and after its documenting, Bumsted remaining to pursue college and was changed on acoustic guitar by Ryan Slate. As time passes, the band distributed stages with functions like Equine the Music group, Piebald, Gogogo Airheart, Fake Complications, and more. Appear Mexico authorized to Lujo Information in past due 2006 and readied their debut full-length, That is Pet Music, which made an appearance the following summer time. The band backed it on the highway for the rest of the entire year.
