Long Range Distribution

This electronica project was founded in 2005 by Phil Hartnoll (b. Phillip Hartnoll, 9 January 1964, Dartford, Kent, Britain), half of the lately defunct UK techno music group Orbital, and fellow manufacturer Nick Smith. The duo produced their debut afterwards that year using the Ed209 cooperation, ‘Dr. Hoover’. The record Madness And Me, released in 2007, encompassed an array of designs, from techno through ambient to indie rock and roll. Hartnoll specifically, now clear of the restraints of dealing with one of the primary names of the united kingdom dance scene from the last 2 decades, reveled in his new-found innovative independence. Hartnoll and Smith had been joined on following live schedules by vocalists Kelly Malone and Mick Mula, key pad participant Jimi Mula, violinist Sarah Tunnel, and drummer Will Light. The duo in addition has notably remixed monitors by Clearlake and Pilch.
