Long and The Short

The Long AS WELL AS THE Short enjoyed a short spell in the united kingdom pop spotlight when ‘The Notice’ reached number 30 in Sept 1964. The tune was originally documented by R&B work Don And Dewey, but was revived by its composer, Sonny Bono, as the debut discharge by Caesar And Cleo, the duo he previously formed along with his wife, Cher. The Long AS WELL AS THE Short, in the meantime, broached the united kingdom Best 50 in Dec using a follow-up one, ‘Choc Glaciers’, but their perky, ‘defeat’ intonations had been quickly overtaken by newer, even more exciting varieties of music.
