As punk sent a power surprise through a complacent past due 70s UK music picture, major brands were found hurriedly putting your signature on acts irrespective of capability. London, like a great many other second department new wavers, had been scooped up and then disappear after all of the fuss got passed away down. Two produces in 1977, ‘Everyone’s A Champion’ and ‘No Period’, had been both of their own time – punchy and immediate but ultimately without substance. Animal Video games, London’s only record (and accompanying one) in 1978 implemented fit, its power pop experience lacking the real bite of punk’s pioneers. Lead vocalist Riff Regan afterwards attempted a single profession, while drummer Jon Moss became a member of the Edge prior to making his name in the first 80s with Lifestyle Club.
