Lo-Fang

Lo-Fang can be an alias of Matthew Hemerlein, a vocalist and songwriter who also pulls from folk, R&B, and downcast electronic music. Also an instrumentalist who are able to play bass, acoustic guitar, cello, piano, and violin — he found his first device at age five — Hemerlein released an recording, Sizzling Nickels, under his delivery name in 2011. He afterwards agreed upon to 4AD and debuted Lo-Fang using the soft and shuffling 12″ one “#88” in Oct 2013. The record Blue Film, conceived in a number of places — including Maryland, Tennessee, LA, Cambodia, and Britain — found its way to Feb 2014. Hemerlein performed every one of the instrumentation.
