Lloyd Banks

Lloyd Banks grew up in Jamaica, Queens, by his Puerto Rican mom; his dad spent a lot of his son’s child years behind pubs. Like many teenagers amid the poverty and damage of his community, he discovered solace through ghetto poetry and the task of rappers like Big Daddy Kane and Slick Rick. He fallen out of senior high school at age 16, locating the organized environment a hindrance to his developing skill for rhyming. After showing up on numerous regional mixtapes, Banks, alongside child years close friends Tony Yayo and 50 Cent, created a crew known as G-Unit, an organization that proceeded to redefine the word “street advertising” with some self-released albums that included initial figures and quality artwork. Banking institutions remained on with 50 Cent, showing up within the artist’s right now traditional 2003 debut, Obtain Wealthy or Die Tryin’. November of this same year noticed the discharge of G-Unit’s Beg for Mercy. Banking institutions’ long-awaited single debut for G-Unit/Interscope Information, Hunger to get more, premiered in June 2004. He adopted it 2 yrs later on with Rotten Apple. This year 2010, G-Unit announced these were departing Interscope and partnering with EMI for Banking institutions’ third recording, H.F.M., Vol. 2 (The Food cravings to get more, Vol. 2).
