Liz Anderson

b. Elizabeth Jane Haaby, 13 March 1930, Pine Creek, near Roseau, Minnesota, USA. Anderson wedded nation songwriter Casey Anderson in 1946, but worked well like a secretary before embracing songwriting herself. She had written ‘Pick FROM THE Week’ (Roy Drusky, 1964), ‘(My Close friends Are Gonna Become) Strangers’ (Merle Haggard, 1965), ‘Think My Eyes Had been Larger Than My Center’ (Conway Twitty, 1966), ‘Simply BETWEEN YOUR Two Of Us’ (Merle Haggard and Bonnie Owens, 1966) and ‘I’m A Lonesome Fugitive’ (Merle Haggard, 1967), that was created with her spouse and founded Haggard’s rebellious picture.
