Little Miss Higgins

A nation blues guitarist and singer, Small Miss Higgins (recognized to perform with her partner in music, Foy Taylor) was created in Alberta, Canada, and raised in Independence, KS. Her debut record, Cobbler Shop Periods, was nominated for the Traditional western Canadian Music Award in 2006, which calendar year she also gained an IMA Vox Populi Award for the melody “Ferry Sail boat Blues.” Her follow-up, the Tim Williams-produced Junction Town, premiered in 2007. During the period of her profession, Small Miss Higgins provides performed with such blues superstars as Big Dave McLean, Corb Lund, and Suzie Vinnick. In 2008, Small Miss Higgins was nominated for the Juno Prize — Canada’s nationwide response to the Grammys — for Greatest Blues Album.
