Her warm, sexy vocals have graced many a residence music monitor since 1995, but Lisa Shaw’s name continues to be pretty obscure. She’s a “home diva” — owner of the anonymous tone of voice that soars above packed dancefloors at 3 a.m., charming listeners, and then disappear a few momemts later on. Anyone who’s ever eliminated clubbing has most likely noticed her — probably more often than once. Shaw ‘s almost ubiquitous inside your home music picture. She’s collaborated numerous famous producers, and it has made an appearance on countless compilations. And lastly, in 2001, Shaw started to make tentative actions toward the limelight. It all were only available in NEW YORK, almost unintentionally. The Toronto indigenous came to NYC on vacation…rather than went house. She received a warm pleasant from your underground digital community, and released her initial single, compiled by DJ Smash and entitled “Makin Like Makin Music,” in 1995.
