Lisa McClendon

Vocalist and songwriter Lisa McClendon brings a variety of jazz, spirit, and funk and a particular metropolitan neo-soul sensibility to her thoroughly modern brand of compliment & worship gospel, and her updated audio has drawn evaluations to performers like Norah Jones and Lauryn Hill. Blessed in Jacksonville, FL (where she proceeds to create her house), McClendon became a member of the female metropolitan group 3N1 soon after graduating from senior high school, and finished up touring with them through the entire southeastern U.S. She produced her solo documenting debut in 2002 using the critically acclaimed My Journal, Your Life over the Shabach Entertainment label. The record seduced the ear of Cell, AL-based label Integrity Gospel, as well as the vocalist agreed upon with Integrity, launching the impressive Spirit Music in 2003. A hands-on documenting artist, McClendon added towards the anatomist and production from the record, functioning closely with manufacturer and co-writer Mo Henderson. Another record, Live from the home of Blues, documented in New Orleans, made an appearance on Integrity Gospel in 2006.
