Lisa Lois

Lisa Lois is a Dutch pop vocalist who rose to chart-topping popularity on the tv screen show X Element in 2009. Delivered Lisa Hordijk on June 22, 1987, in Wageningen, Netherlands, she was ensemble on the next period of X Aspect. She eventually gained first place in-may 2009 and produced her documenting debut quickly thereafter using a version from the Leonard Cohen regular “Hallelujah.” The tune topped the Dutch singles graph for ten weeks directly. Originally billing herself as merely Lisa instead of Lisa Hordijk, she followed the moniker Lisa Lois in the wake of her chart-topping debut and produced programs to record her debut record using the London-based creation group TMS (Tom Barnes, Peter Kelleher, Ben Kohn). An album’s worthy of of first English-language materials was penned on her behalf by sector songwriters, especially vocalist/songwriter Pixie Lott and songwriter/manufacturer Phil Thornalley, both of Britain. Upon its discharge by the end of the entire year, Lois’ ten-song full-length debut, Smoke cigarettes (2009), reached amount six in the Dutch albums graph.
