Vocalist/songwriter Lisa Briggs might have been heard in several musical outlet stores through her local of Minneapolis, MN, in the first ’90s. From showing up in several university musicals, radio applications, and even performing in several locally produced advertisements, her make of acoustic folk and soprano vocals will be ultimately packed in her 1996 self-released full-length Espresso and Gifts. Pursuing in her musical affects of Joni Mitchell and Shawn Colvin, her debut will be along with a backing of the string ensemble, pianos, and percussion. A couple days after the launch of Espresso and Presents, Briggs relocated to Nashville, TN.
