Water G. (brief for Water Garbage) is certainly a Belgian electro-industrial task helmed by Peter Truck Bogaert, aka Peter Punk. Dynamic since 1987, a lot of the project’s music continues to be released via Truck Bogaert’s own Water Produkts label, generally by means of limited self-made cassettes and CD-Rs. Water G.’s music typically includes traveling electronic beats, sequenced rhythms, and distorted vocals expressing cultural and politics paranoia. The task has always preserved a D.We.Con. ethos and punk attitude since its inception, overlooking trends and keeping accurate to its initial sound. Water G. started issuing cassettes and showing up on compilations in 1987. Vehicle Bogaert began carrying out live gigs at night clubs in Belgium, ultimately appearing at numerous goth and EBM celebrations. He collaborated with Vomito Negro for any cassette in 1989, and created some side tasks (SubsecTion 1!, Hydrom Collection) in the first ’90s. Water G. continued hiatus in 1997 and re-emerged in 2005, with vocalist/synthesizer participant Kim De Laet becoming a member of Water G. from 2008 to 2014. During this time period, while carrying on to concern CD-Rs and digital albums on Water Produkts, Water G. also released Biohazard & Medical Waste materials (2011) and Overdose (2013) on Italian label EK Item. In 2015, American label Dark Entries released Liquidation, a compilation LP of songs taken from Water G.’s first cassette albums from your late ’80s.
