Lion Fever

Portland, OR’s Lion Fever features vocalist/guitarist Jennifer Pearl, bassist David Clifford, and drummer Kevin Garrison. In the summertime of 2002, Clifford, who takes on drums for Pleasure Forever and was previously a drummer for the VSS, Slaves, and Jim Sclavunos & the Vanity Arranged, approached Pearl, previously of the Shed Kids, about developing a band collectively. The set drafted Garrison to try out drums, Clifford required around the bass responsibilities, and the recently christened Lion Fever started crafting a method incorporating blues, ’60s garage area, punkabilly, and additional darkly powerful designs, with performers like PJ Harvey as well as the Weapon Golf club among the band’s main affects. By 2003 these were in the studio room documenting their debut EP, Lustre, that was released by Dim Mak in early 2004.
