Linus

Linus contain two American sisters, Jennifer (bass, electric guitar, vocals) and Tammy Denitto (vocals), today based in the united kingdom, who formed the music group in 1989 in London alongside Peter (drums) and Andy Roberts (electric guitar). In 1992, their shows begun to attract interest and their debut EP, released on Bone Information, aroused further curiosity. Their music, which range from wiry, slicing pop to restrained, reflective laments, was even more forcefully promoted the next year. The one, ‘Super Golgotha Crucifixion Picture’, and record, Yougli, earned them new enthusiasts. The one was BBC Radio One’s Evening Program’s Single FROM THE Week. Its name was typical of the intriguing but frequently obscure lyrics. Steve Hughes was earned on drums before a UK tour to market the record. In 1995 two EPs had been released by Elemental Information, Supercool and Better Genes.
