Lineland can be an alias of Malcom Felder, an indie electronica maker from the label Sound Dregs. After shifting to Queens, NY, in 1998, Felder started experimenting with digital music creation. He circulated among his close friends home made CD-Rs of his early recordings, which ultimately resulted in a recording agreement using the impartial label Sound Dregs. Felder produced his full-length recording debut as Lineland with Pavilion (2003). Another recording, Logos for Like (2008), adopted years later on, after Felder experienced relocated to Chicago. Furthermore to Lineland, Felder founded the label Mutable Audio.
