Limblifter

Created while two of their members had been still within the like-minded power pop strap Age group of Electric, Limblifter’s punchy rock and roll essentially revolves around Ryan Dahle, their just consistent member. Alongside vocalist/drummer Kurt Dahle and bassist Ian Somers, the trio released their 1st record, Limblifter, on Mercury information in early 1996. Following a album, Age group of Electric powered officially disbanded, permitting the Dahle brothers to focus on Limblifter, while Age group of Electric’s Todd Kerns and John Kerns created Static in Stereo system. Ian Somers remaining Limblifter and was changed by Todd Fancey before their follow-up, Bellaclava, premiered in March 2000. Unlike their debut, which required only weekly to record, their sophomore work took 100 times and was self-released. Later on that 12 months, Kurt Dahle and Fancey became a member of Canadian supergroup the brand new Pornographers, departing Ryan Dahle to put together a fresh lineup.
