A speedy thrash steel music group with death steel overtones, Light This Town are mainly notable to be among the just bands within their particular style with a lady business lead singer, the active and impressively leather-lunged Laura Nichol. Shaped in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA in 2002 while many members had been still in senior high school, the initial lineup of Light This Town contains Nichol on vocals, guitarists Tyler Gamlen and Steven Shirley, bassist Mike Dias, and drummer Ben Murray. This lineup documented Light This City’s debut, The Hero Routine, but by enough time the record was released for the Reflections of Ruins label in nov 2003, Gamlen and Shirley have been changed by Brian Forbes and Steve Hoffman.
