Lewis Pragasam

A hugely respected drummer and percussionist in Asia — and for example, the entire world — Lewis Pragasam was the first choice and creator of Asiabeat, that was critical in getting Asian design percussion and music (furthermore to mixing it with additional world designs) to a more substantial, global target audience. The group, which created in 1979, started liberating albums in 1982 to great reception, and Pragasam was to consider his concept and group all around the globe, touring on almost every continent, and producing waves at a number of the planet’s most famous jazz and globe music festivals. Ultimately, Pragasam was granted a Fulbright Scholarship or grant, and started teaching — as Designer in Home — at East Carolina University or college. Furthermore, he also toured the entire world along with his percussion group, Garbage.
