Lewis & Clarke emerged from rural Pa in the first 2000s as the slowcore aspect task of songwriter Lou Rogai. Previously a single musician, Rogai got produced a name for himself using the discharge of the well-received EP, Clear Throne, in 2000. The Lewis & Clarke moniker discovered him functioning alongside many collaborators, as well as the spinning lineup first dedicated its strummed, lo-fi intimacy to polish using the self-released Shiny Light EP. Released in 2003, the EP’s Americana audio drew evaluations to such performers as Codeine and Large Fine sand. The full-length Bare Bone fragments and Branches strike European shores afterwards that year, accompanied by an American discharge in 2005. Rogai after that set to focus on another record, 2007’s Blasts of Holy Delivery, which examined the partnership between springtime and birth.
