Seattle three-piece Levator is certainly made up of Sky Lynn (vocals, electric guitar, results, synth, bass), Nate Henry (tenor sax, results, keyboards), and Rando Skrasek (drums, results, synth, bass), who enjoy the nuanced practice of composing drowsy, dreamy, shoegaze indie rock and roll, infused with both pop and avant-garde affects — and a lot of Green Floyd. Originally released as a single task by Sky Lynn, who performed every device for the 2004 debut record Midnight, Levator extended to some trio when touring became a choice, and following long-players Jackson Hwy. Barnes Drive (2006) and THE LARGEST Waves Come during the night (2009) have as a result featured efforts from all three people.
